Adult Tours
The Basics
We require a minimum of 12 people for a guided tour.
Tours must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance.
A maximum of 72 people an hour can be accommodated on a guided tour.
Cost is $7 per person and covers both admission and the guided tour.
Bus drivers and tour guides are admitted free.
One-hour guided tours are only available during our regular business hours, 10am - 5pm, Tuesday through Sunday, and 10am - 8pm on Thursdays.
Choose from Two Options
OPTION ONE: ONE-HOUR GUIDED TOUR
One hour guided tours focus on three specific galleries of the docent’s choosing and 5-6 artworks per tour. Guests are asked to stay with their docent for the full hour.
OPTION TWO: WELCOME TOUR
Welcome Tours are available for groups who would like an introduction to MMAM, but do not want to commit to an in-depth one hour tour. A MMAM docent, or staff curator, will greet your group, tell you a brief history of MMAM and point out highlights you don’t want to miss!

Please notify us if you would like a portion of your tour to be seated.
Arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a full tour.
Assisting Listening Devices (ALDs) are available for tour groups. These ALDs are lightweight, completely portable, with crystal clear digital sound. The devices are American with Disabilities Act-compliant and accommodate hearing aids. ALDs transmit a guide’s voice directly to listeners’ ears, separating their voice from background noise and providing an enjoyable experience to all.
