As R&B stars Boyz II Men say in their 1991 slow jam hit It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday, “I don’t know where this road is going to lead.” Who knows where the conversation will lead when Curator of Education Heather Casper hosts her own slow jam at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, a slow art jam.
When you take your time with an artwork you make new discoveries. During Slow Art Jam, Casper will lead a facilitated hour-long group conversation while looking at one artwork, allowing participants to observe, discover and drive the conversation. We will be taking a long look at Edward Moran’s Commerce of Nations Rendering Homage to Liberty (1876).
