Art is for everyone! Join the Minnesota Marine Art Museum for the Winter Seasonal Saturday on February 8. With $1 admission for all, this is a fun and lively day to visit the museum for first-time visitors and experienced museum-goers alike. Inspired by MMAM's current exhibition Once Upon a Shore, the theme of this Seasonal Saturday is Gathering Ground. Enjoy wandering the galleries on your own, or join a tour, listen to live music, try your hand at art-making, or visit one of our community partners. Bingo Overboard, everyone’s favorite search-and-find game, is always available - just don’t forget to pick up your prize!

LIVE MUSIC
Gallery 5 [11am + 3pm]
Enjoy live music from Covered Hotdish (Gretchen Mulkey and Aaron Lohmeyer) from 11am - 12pm, and live music from Heart Strings Harp Circle from 3 - 4pm.
ART-MAKING
Oberton Education Room [all day]
Meeting Space: Combine text, images, beads, thread and colored papers to play with the notion of what happens when different elements meet. For all ages and abilities.
Themed Tours
Atrium [10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15, 2:15pm, 3:15pm, 4:15pm]
Take a 30-minute highlights tour of MMAM’s current exhibitions, focusing on the artworks in the exhibition Once Upon A Shore.

Play everyone’s favorite search-and-find gallery game and win a prize.

Free transportation to and from the Minnesota Marine Art Museum is available through Winona Area Transit Service’s Dial-A-Ride. Call 507-454-6666 to schedule your ride a few days before you plan to visit, and MMAM will pay your fare upon arrival and provide you with return fare.
