About College Tours
The Minnesota Marine Art Museum serves as an educational resource for area colleges and universities. Whether through self exploration or guided tours, MMAM strives to help students make connections to their own lives and encourages new ways of looking at the world.
Professors: Choose a docent-led one-hour tour for your students, plan a self-guided tour, or send students on their own time to complete an assignment. Only guided tours need to be booked in advance.
The Basics
Student admission is always $5, and students are free on Thursdays.
Kindly note that guided tours remain $5 per student on our Free Student Thursdays. The cost is not for admission, but for the support and materials provided on your field trip.
Guided tours require a minimum of 12 students and must be booked three weeks in advance.
Pencils, boards and stools are available for use anytime.
No ink pens, food or beverages are allowed in the galleries.
