About the new exhibitions:

Courtney Mattison: Undercurrent

Courtney Mattison creates intricate and large-scale ceramic sculptural works that visualize climate change through the fragile beauty of marine life. Her sculptures inspired by coral reefs depict the delicate beauty found beneath the sea and highlight biodiversity impacted by human activity.

Liz Sexton: Out of Water

Liz Sexton creates sculptures that blur the line between the animal kingdom and human life. Working with paper mâché, Sexton creates large masks of fish, birds, and mammals that are meant to be worn. The works often feature fauna that are facing threat, such as marine life, and sheds light on the displacement from their natural habitat that many animals experience as they are forced to live in our human world.
