MMAM Workshop Refund Policy

Our workshops require significant planning by instructors and staff, and class sizes are intentionally limited. Please review the following policies before registering.

Workshops

Participant Cancellations
If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us in writing (email is acceptable).

  • Cancellations made more than 21 days prior to the workshop start date will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee.

  • Cancellations made 21 days or fewer before the workshop start date are not eligible for a refund.

  • We are unable to transfer registration fees to other workshops or participants.

Missed Sessions
No refunds or prorated tuition will be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or missed sessions once a workshop has begun.

Health-Related Cancellations
If you are unable to attend due to illness, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds or credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Workshop Cancellations by the Museum
Workshops require a minimum number of participants. If the Minnesota Marine Art Museum cancels a workshop due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will receive a full refund.

We recommend waiting to finalize travel or lodging arrangements until your workshop is confirmed.

Weather Policy
The Minnesota Marine Art Museum follows guidance from the National Weather Service. In the event that a severe weather warning is issued for our area, the museum may close, and affected programs will be canceled. If a program is canceled, registrants will be notified and will receive a full refund.

If the museum remains open and a program proceeds as scheduled during inclement weather, participants who choose not to attend are not eligible for refunds.

Craft + Cocktail Workshops

Our Craft + Cocktail workshops are designed with limited capacity and require advanced preparation by instructors and staff. Please review the following policy before registering.

Participant Cancellations
If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us in writing (email is acceptable).

  • Cancellations made 8 or more days prior to the program start date will receive a refund, less a $10 administrative fee.

  • Cancellations made 7 days or fewer before the program start date are not eligible for a refund.

Workshop Cancellations by the Museum
MMAM reserves the right to cancel a program up to one week prior to the start date if minimum enrollment is not met or due to unforeseen circumstances, including severe weather. If a program is canceled, registrants will be notified by phone or email and will receive a full refund.
