One big tent. One big riverside celebration. One big outcome. Show your love for the Minnesota Marine Art Museum.
Returning for a fourth consecutive year, the Minnesota Marine Art Museum’s For the Love of Water Gala has evolved into the signature fall art event in Southeastern Minnesota. Our purpose is simple…to gather friends, family, fans and partners to celebrate and support the Minnesota Marine Art Museum and its mission - creating meaningful art experiences inspired by water.
enjoy a lovely evening on the mMAM campus
This year’s Gala returns to the stunning Minnesota Marine Art Museum campus,, kicking off with a specially curated cocktail hour by our friends from La Crosse Distilling Co., as guests arrive and gather to be inspired by multiple mission-driven moments in the museum’s sprawling Atrium and newly built Waterbar Cafe & Provisions. As the sun begins to set, we make our way out of doors to the decorated tent, courtesy of Majestic Events. Last year’s culinary partners, Heirloom Bistro, return to serve up another memorable mariner inspired dinner, served family style, under the big tent, sparkling lights, stars, and of course, great company.
Menu
Attendees will enjoy a not to be missed style mariner-inspired meal by Heirloom Bistro with full vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options, as well as complimentary curated seasonal beverages by La Crosse Distilling Co. Supporting the Mission
There will be plenty of moments to step forward in support of the Minnesota Marine Art Museum. From water-inspired experiences such as a North Shore Escape to the Harborside Town of Grand Marais to Guided Fly Fishing Outing on the World-Famous Namekagon River to a 10-Day Guided Trip to Newfoundland’s World Heritage Sites (including the place where the Vikings first landed in North America) to a Relaxing Mexican Riveria Escape on the Play del Carmen, the evening provides opportunities for you to invest in MMAM’s mission, while receiving some great benefits!
Additional auction items include original artwork by National Watercolor Society Signature Member, Kar-Keat Chong and Signature Member of American Impressionist Society, Joshua Cunningham, and an inspiring jewelry making workshop by Winona-based artist, Jovy Rockey. More opportunities to be announced week-of!
Event Attire
Dress to impress but do not forget to have fun with it. You will see women in dresses, men in suits or sport coats, and for the adventurous seafarer a bowtie, bolo, or splash of nautical flair is always fair game. And if you prefer a sharp suit no matter who you are, you will be in excellent company.
Tables
You will be assigned a table with the guests that you purchased tickets with. If you have specific seating inquiries, please contact Director of Development, Mike Linnemann. (MikeL@mmam.org)
