Meet MMAM’s new Director of Development
I am excited (and grateful) to share that I have joined the Minnesota Marine Art Museum as your new Director of Development.
For those of you who I haven’t had the pleasure to meet yet, hello! I can’t wait to get to know you.
If we have met, I’m still scouting coffee shops so we can catch up properly. (Suggestions very welcome!)
I want to start by saying thank you.
Your generosity keeps the museum vibrant, inspiring and open to all. I’m deeply grateful for the chance to work alongside you to continue building something truly special here in Winona.
You might wonder why my role is called “development” and not simply “fundraising.” It’s because this work is about more than gifts. It’s about building real relationships, bringing people closer to our mission, and helping spark incredible things that only philanthropy can make possible. Together, we’re not just funding a museum, we are developing a shared future for art, water and community.
Over the next few months, I am looking forward to sharing a coffee (or two or three) with as many of you as possible. Whether it’s to talk about your favorite artwork at the museum, ideas for the future, or to simply swap travel stories over a latte, I’m all ears. (I’ll even bring the pastries if that’s what it takes!)
Thank you again for making MMAM the extraordinary place it is. I can’t wait to meet you, hear your story and dream about the future together.
See you at the museum, or a nearby coffee shop soon!
