World of Wonders Talk & Book Signing

Join illustrator, Fumi Nakamura, and author, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, of the book World of Wonders: In Praise of Fireflies, Whale Sharks, and Other Astonishments (Milkweed Editions) on Saturday, January 28 at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum (MMAM). Nakamura and Nezhukumatathil will discuss their work and sign books in MMAM’s Atrium. This event is free and no registration is required. General admission is required to tour the galleries. 

The book World of Wonders is featured in a new literary arts gallery at MMAM titled, Waking Worlds: Wondrous Reads for Curious Minds. This exhibition features original illustrations from three book projects; Mary Casanova’s Wake Up, Island (University of Minnesota Press) and Hush, Hush, Forest (University of Minnesota Press) as illustrated by printmaker Nick Wroblewski, and World of Wonders: In Praise of Fireflies, Whale Sharks, and Other Astonishments (Milkweed Editions) written by Aimee Nezhukumatathil and illustrated by Fumi Nakamura.
