Shipwreckt Books and the Minnesota Marine Art Museum (MMAM) present a reading by poet, Mara Adamitz Scrupe, on Saturday, July 22 at 3pm in the galleries of MMAM. Scrupe will from her new book, REAP, a flora, at this debut book release event.
“I would suggest that no modern poet has written as experimentally, as sensually, and as scientifically on nature as Mara Adamitz Scrupe does in this wonderful collection,” says Luigi Marchini, author of The Anatomist. Dubbed as “meditative, clear-sighted and wise,” by Dave Lewis, the author of Africa Poems and Mixed Messages, this new book of poetry is published by Shipwreckt Books Publishing Company (Winona, MN), and was released this spring.
Following the gallery readings, Mara will be available to sign copies of REAP, a flora.
