Winona County's First Annual
Learn and Grow with Us Garden Tour
Saturday, July 29 | 10am - 2pm | Free
The Gardens / 7th Gallery of the Minnesota Marine Art Museum
Join us for Winona County's first Learn and Grow With Us Garden Tour, with stop #6 at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum’s (MMAM) gardens, also known as MMAM’s 7th Gallery. This stop of the tour is presented by the Winona County Master Gardeners in partnership with MMAM. Participants in the Garden Tour may tour the galleries of MMAM free of charge.
About the Tour
Winona County Master Gardener volunteers will greet you at each garden site, offering not only information about each garden but also help with any gardening questions you might have. The tour is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted; any funds raised will support the Learn and Grow With Us tour program, along with Habitat for Humanity’s “Brush With Kindness” project. At each garden, be sure to sign up for a prize drawing–names will be drawn at the conclusion of the tour, and winners will be contacted. Also, look for the “Five Favorites” featured at each garden; use the green stickers to mark that you have found them. At the last garden you visit (again, you may tour them in any order), show your completed “Favorites” charts to the Master Gardener volunteer to receive a small prize!

About the Master Gardeners
Master Gardener volunteers are University of Minnesota-trained volunteers who educate the public about a variety of horticulture subjects using readily available, up-to-date, research-based information. This educational effort is designed to enhance the public's quality of life and to promote good stewardship of the environment. Master Gardeners come from all walks of life. They share gardening best practices that promote healthy landscapes, healthy food and healthy lives. Upon completing a core course, they contribute their time teaching research-based horticulture practices in their communities.
Proceeds from any donations will go to fund future Winona County Master Gardeners education programming and the Habitat for Humanity "A Brush with Kindness" program. More information coming soon.
