The Frozen River Film Festival is be partnering with MMAM to present a free outdoor screening on Thursday, August 10 at 8:00pm.

Following MMAM's weekly summer Mississippi Sippin series, set up your chair in front of our brand-new outdoor screen for a Minnesota Marine Film Set. This is your chance to get a second look at some recent festival favorites: Freshwater, Tiny Titanic and A Voice For The Wild.

In addition to screening these water-themed films, we will be welcoming some very special guests for a Q&A following the film set. Don't miss out on this fantastic free film opportunity!

A Presentation by Courtney Mattison

Join MMAM exhibiting artist and ocean advocate Courtney Mattison, for a virtual presentation about her intricate and large-scale ceramic sculptural work inspired by the plight of coral reefs. Her work visualizes the effects of carbon dioxide emissions, such as coral bleaching caused by warming waters, and ocean acidification. Courtney Mattison: Undercurrent is on view now through September 3. This is a hybrid of an in-person and virtual event. The artist, Courtney Mattison, will be streaming live virtually.
