About Kelly Schamberger
Kelly Schamberger (b. 1985) is an internationally-awarded fine artist and art instructor painting primarily in the genres of plein air landscape, portraiture, and still life. She earned a bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, continued her education in arts management at St. Mary’s University - Minneapolis, studied graphic design and illustration at Boise State University, and then transitioned to a fine art career through a four-year classical drawing and oil painting apprenticeship at the Great Lakes Academy of Fine Art.
Schamberger has been the recipient of numerous awards and news features, participated in international, invitational, juried, solo, and group exhibitions, received competitive grants, and will have a painting included in the Polaris Collection time capsule being placed on the moon by SpaceX/NASA in the fall of 2024. She recently published her first art book, Immersed in the Pause, exhibited at Sotheby’s New York as part of the 21st Century Realism: ARC International Salon, and was recognized in Duluth’s 20 Under 40 awards.
She is a member of the Duluth Art Institute and Outdoor Painters of Minnesota, works from a home studio space in Duluth, Minnesota, and has work in private collections throughout the United States.
