Minnesota Marine Art Museum
RSVP Requested
It’s that time of year again…the Minnesota Marine Art Museum (Winona, Minnesota) joins the more than 37,000 museums in 158 countries and territories worldwide to mark International Museum Day - “...a global effort to raise awareness that museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples.” (International Council of Museums).
While our work as a museum is pretty straightforward, it is never simple. It takes a community to move our mission - creating meaningful art experiences that explore our relationship to water - forward. Each year, MMAM partners with hundreds of organizations, artists, community leaders, volunteers and supporters to do its work.
Our Annual Report to the Community has become a hallmark tradition to pause each spring and thank those who have stepped forward with their support, acknowledge the impact the museum has had on its community, and invite you to join our efforts as we move into the coming year.
Please join us over pie and ice cream for this informal gathering at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum on Sunday, May 18, from 1-2P as we share our annual Impact Report, present the Community and Volunteer Awards, launch our 2025 Annual Fund, and share an update on the museum’s 7th Gallery Initiative.
Help us plan for how many pie crusts to roll out (our treat to you) by RSVPing in advance. RSVP here.
