Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and creative spirit of the Driftless Region with Mississippi Sippin’, MMAM’s beloved summer music series. Now part of our Third Thursdays, these concert are set against the stunning backdrop of the Mississippi River. This all-ages event invites you to unwind with a live outdoor performances, specials at the MMAM Shoppe, and culinary delights and beverages from MMAM’s Waterbar Cafe + Provisions. Looking to cool off? Step inside the museum’s climate-controlled galleries, where 20,000 square feet of world-class marine-inspired art await. From live music and handcrafted drinks to a night out on the river, Mississippi Sippin’ is a celebration of the many ways water inspires art.

CONCERT

Thursday, June 18 features the Loreweavers from 6-7:30p. The concert will be outdoors in the MMAM gardens, and is free and open to all ages.

Gallery Admission $5   |   Members + Students See It Free  

The outdoor concert is free and open to all ages (donations appreciated). The MMAM galleries are open until 8pm and all students receive free entry every Thursday at MMAM (Free Student Thursdays). General admission on Third Thursdays is only $5 between 5pm - 8pm. MMAM Members receive free gallery admission, all year-round. Not a member yet? Join us. (Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.)

INCLEMENT WEATHER ALTERNATIVE

In the event of rain or inclement weather, Mississippi Sippin’ will be moved inside the atrium of MMAM. There will not be cancellations due to weather.

About the Loreweavers:

Loreweavers, Bards of the Modern Age, focus their efforts on bringing tavern and fantasy soundtracks to a wider audience. Inspired by the tavern music presented in video games such as The Witcher and Skyrim, as well as traditional Irish tunes and sea shanties, Loreweavers seek to immerse their audience in a world of wonder and adventure. Showcasing a wide variety of musical talents and instrumentation ranging from accordion and fiddle to bodhrán and guitar, Loreweavers are sure to grab the attention of any crowd and pull them in to ensure an experience they'll never forget.
