Join artist, author, and illustrator Geo Rutherford for a lively, one-hour talk offsite at The ARC. Presented in partnership with the Friends of the Winona Public Library as part of their author talk series, this special program invites guests to hear directly from Rutherford as she shares the strange, fascinating, and sometimes eerie stories behind her bestselling Spooky Lakes and forthcoming Spooky Rivers, blending science, folklore, and environmental insight.

Prior to the talk, ticket holders are invited to a private book signing at The ARC for an opportunity to meet the artist, have books signed, and take home a piece of the stories that have captivated millions. Both books will be available for purchase.

Make sure to also visit Rutherford’s exhibition Geo Rutherford: Spooky Waters of the World at MMAM, and see the original illustrations from the books!
