The Southeast Libraries Cooperating (SELCO) Minnesota Author tour brings author, Kao Kalia Yang, to Winona and the Minnesota Marine Art Museum (MMAM) on May 7. Kao Kalia Yang’s book, The Most Beautiful Thing, illustrated by Khoa Le (Lerner Publishing, Carolrhoda Books, 2020), is one of two books that are featured in the current book arts exhibition at MMAM Across a Wide Ocean: Remarkable Stories about the Origins of Identity. The program will be held in the Across a Wide Ocean gallery, and will be followed by a book signing in the museum’s atrium. MMAM has the author’s books for sale in the MMAM Shoppe.
