Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and creative spirit of the Driftless Region with Mississippi Sippin’, MMAM’s beloved summer music series. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Mississippi River, this all-ages event invites you to unwind with live outdoor performances, artist trunk shows from the Shoppe MMAM, and culinary delights from special guest partners. Plus, sip on beverages from MMAM’s newest creation, the Water Bar Cafe + Provisions.
Looking to cool off? Step inside the museum’s climate-controlled galleries, where 20,000 square feet of world-class marine-inspired art await. From live music and handcrafted drinks to paintings, photography, and sculpture, Mississippi Sippin’ is a celebration of the many ways water inspires art.

ADMISSION
All three outdoor concerts are free and open to all ages (donations appreciated). The MMAM galleries are open until 8pm, and while admission is required to enter the galleries, all students receive free entry every Thursday at MMAM (Free Student Thursdays). MMAM Members receive free gallery admission, all year-roundNot a member yet? Join us.
FOOD & DRINK
No summer night is complete without delicious food and drink! Enjoy food from local vendors. Pair your meal with a refreshing beverage from Water Bar Café + Provisions, offering a $5 specialty cocktail, plus a selection of beer and wine for purchase.
Shoppe MMAM Trunk Shows
Stop by the MMAM pop-up tent and meet our guest artisans. A new regional artist will present a new line of their work at each Mississippi Sippin.
INCLEMENT WEATHER ALTERNATIVE
In the event of rain or inclement weather, Mississippi Sippin will be moved inside the atrium of MMAM. There will not be cancellations due to weather.
