From Sea to Paper: The Gyotaku Prints of Dwight Hwang

Pushing the boundaries of traditional Gyotaku, a process by which an artist makes a print using real fish, Hwang incorporates other organic forms such as plants, birds, and even people, into his stunningly lifelike prints.

 
 

Kristian Brevik: Art for Fish/Art for Humans

SEPTEMBER 16, 2023 - January 21, 2024

Kristian Brevik is an artist, scientist, and educator working in Burlington, VT. They create illuminated sculptural lanterns representing the breadth of biodiversity in the living world. When lit, they reveal skeletons, colors, and patterns of the creatures they represent, casting a warm glow that draws the viewer in.

 
 

Kimble A. Bromley: Moby-Dick

ON VIEW SEPTEMBER 8, 2023 - JANUARY 7, 2024

This exhibition features 23 expressive paintings by Fargo artist Kimble A. Bromley inspired by the true 19th century account of a large whale attacking the whaling ship Essex, and Herman Melville's classic novel Moby-Dick (1851).
