What to Expect: The 3-Part Discovery Tour
Your class will rotate through three engaging, 20-minute experiences:
Longer Look: Fewer artworks, deeper engagement - Students take a “longer look” at a single artwork, practicing observation, description, and discussion skills. Guided conversation builds confidence in sharing ideas and interpreting meaning.
Sketching to See: Hands on Learning - Students explore artworks through sketching, revealing details they might otherwise miss. This hands-on activity reinforces careful looking and creative expression.
Connection Cards: Movement and Choice - Students analyze artworks they love (and don’t love!) and explain why. They connect what they see to their own lives, community, and the world around them.
