Second Saturdays at MMAM
Welcome to Second Saturdays!
Second Saturday is an arts access program with the goal of reducing intimidation and increasing comfortable access to the fine arts for everyone. MMAM developed this program to change, expand and enrich the way we connect with our community in Winona, Minnesota. MMAM is enriching its understanding of Winona and tailoring aspects of our programming to help sustain life-long access to the museum. To read more about our pre-COVID19 on-site program, click here.
For the safety of our community, we hosted Second Saturdays in 2020 virtually.
Introducing Second Saturdays: Home Edition!
Inspired by our collections, exhibitions, local artists, and talented staff and volunteers, virtual Second Saturdays will offer some of our favorite components of the on-site program that you can do at home, plus some interactive elements that we could only offer online!
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
